Tequila Tuesday! Still trying new bitters in different drinks!

As I mentioned yesterday,  I got some new bitters and wanted to try them in a few drinks that I already knew to see the real value.
So 'some of' the next few posts are going to be repeats of some drinks I have already shared on this blog with one change: Boy Drinks World Serrano Cocktail Spice will be added.
The first drink is from a previous Tequila Tuesday (click for more details)

2 Oz Purasangre Blanco
1 Oz Ruby Port

½ Oz Yellow Chartreuse1 stopper full of Boy Drinks World Serrano Cocktail Spice

Stir and strain into a cocktail glass.

I was a little surprised at how much more intriguing this drink was. It was already very nice and rich but the
Serrano Cocktail Spice elongated the vegital characteristics and brightened some of the sweetness into balance. Well played...

The second is also from a previous Tequila Tuesday (click for info including drink history and a simple grenadine recipe)

2 Oz Purasangre Tequila Blanco
1 Oz Orange Juice
1/4 Oz Grenadine
1 stopper full of Boy Drinks World Serrano Cocktail Spice

Shake with ice till very cold, strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

The Boy Drinks World Serrano Cocktail Spice may have actually saved this drink. Generally this is a brunch drink, without much really to bring me back--except 'easy, casual, simple' but with the bitter it has so much more and without losing those other aspects that make the Jalisco so approachable. The Serrano Cocktail Spice in it is nice but I think it is better with an extra stopper full on top, but remember--I like spicy!

As I mentioned, Ram is running an INDIE GOGO Campaign to get his company up and running and if you kick in some cash there good things in store for you.

Watch the video and check out the whole campaign here and kick in what you can:

Oh yeah and don't forget . . .
