Tequila Tuesday: Lapis Lillet

I have been infatuated with minimal drinks for a very long time. Drinks that use very few ingredients tend to show the quality of the products used in them, while putting them into a more accessible light. This is another drink along those simple lines that turned out delicious. Lapis Reposado is a lovely tequila that I will get around to reviewing, but for now know that it is delicate, creamy and well structured. Paired with the flavors of Lillet Blanc it is perfect. I used the Fee Brothers Gin Barrel-Aged Orange Bitters because they were handy and really they worked great in the drink.

Lapis Lillet

2 Oz Lapis Reposado
1 Oz Lillet Blanc

Stir and strain into a chilled glass.
2 Dashes
Fee Brothers Gin Barrel-Aged Orange Bitters

A cocktail glass would probably be better, but this one was handy.

The name is fairly obvious, but I thought it had a nice ring to it also.
