2 Oz Cyrus Noble Bourbon
3/4 Oz Lemon Juice
1/2 Oz Simple Syrup
*** 1/2 a small egg white optional
Shake and strain, on ice or not, in a sour glass if you have them.
Garnish is up to you. It is usually an orange slice or a cherry or both.
As for the egg--for me, I leave it out. It is completely up to you. I have read, that when egg is added it becomes a Boston Sour. The egg does make the mouth feel more silky and if you dry shake the heck out of it you get a nice head on top.
