Tullamore Dew 10 Year Irish Whiskey

I don't know about the pricing of this... Where i found it, it was more expensive than the 12 year old??? But, that doesn't have anything to do with the whiskey so..: This is an easy drinker...triple distilled then aged in Spanish and American Oak. It is also a great chance to add a limited offering (only 900 cases!) to your collection. The nose leads with stewed citrus (whole lemon and orange zest) with a definite malty undertone and hints of spice. The palate reveals vibrant baking spices with minor sweetness holding malted grains in a dry mouth feel displaying clean toasty wood and roasted almonds. The medium body carries over some of the spice into the finish-gently restating the malt and the wood tones in a smooth, incremental fade. Saporous neat, gracious with ice and wonderful in an Irish themed cocktail.
